Ticks hide in cool, damp areas and often go undetected until there’s a big infestation in your yard. Adult female ticks lay thousands of eggs at once, so a small tick problem can quickly get out of hand unless you take action. Our professional tick control solution kills adult and young ticks and repels ticks and other pests from returning to your property. We work quickly and can often treat your yard in less than an hour. Expect an 85 to 90 percent reduction in ticks after a treatment from Mosquito Squad of Central Massachusetts, and you’ll notice fewer mosquitoes, too. To learn more about how our treatment works or to schedule an appointment, give us a call and a knowledgeable specialist will assist you.
The Mosquito Squad 100-percent satisfaction guarantee began as a way to show customers how much we appreciate and value them. We’ve spent so much time developing our tick control treatment that we can guarantee you’ll see an 85-90 percent reduction or we’ll offer your money back. We can also respray the yard, as the second treatment should do the trick, but if you’re still not completely happy, call us and we’ll issue a complete refund with no hassle or questions.
The first step toward a nearly tick-free yard is a barrier spray, which immediately kills ticks on contact. We focus on applying the solution in locations where ticks congregate, including around the perimeter of your yard, at the bottom of walls or fences, near woodpiles, along your tree line, and on tall grass. The time-released solution continues killing ticks for up to three weeks, allowing you to achieve up to a 90 percent reduction in the number of ticks in your yard.
While our traditional spray treatment is our most popular option, many customers opt for an all-natural barrier spray where we use our in-house tick repellent. Containing essential oils, the organic repellent gives off an odor that ticks, as well as mosquitoes and other pests, don’t like. You won’t smell the solution’s botanical aroma within 24 hours of the treatment, though. The organic spray lasts for two weeks and repels between 65 and 80 percent of ticks.
Once we finish spraying the yard, our team locates all tick and mosquito breeding areas, which we treat or remove. This helps lower the nymph tick population. For added protection, we set biodegradable tick tubes down throughout your yard. Positioned in inconspicuous locations, the tick tubes feature insecticide-treated cotton, which mice take to build shelter. As the mice absorb the insecticide, nymph ticks that attempt to feed on the mice’s blood die promptly.
